September Gales
Lake Erie
Fishing for bass up until now has been OUTSTANDING. These big winds are gonna push water and changes things up but only for the better. Walleye should be making their fall migrations back to the typical spring/fall spots with the schooling Ohio fish heading back home. Steelhead are gonna start showing up and the Muskie bite should start to improve. Perch schools can also be expected to start showing up in their fall locations.
Lake Ontario
Port Dalhousie has seen good catches of lake trout in deeper water and the majority of Kings are staging around the bar. Big Stan reports good fish still out in the blue zone and for you bass guys there's a great smallie bite around the mouth of the river. If you like to throw Flies check out Paul from Cast Adventures he'll get you on the hot bite.
Upper Niagara
Steelhead are about to make their annual appearance and the walleye bite at night is heating up despite the weather cooloing down. Smallies and Largies are bulking up for winter and with that the World Famous Niagara Esox comes out of hiding and starts the All U Can Eat affair.
Lower Niagara
The mouth of the river has walleye if you know how to catch them. Basically everything that swims can be caught right now and yes that includes the Fresh run silvers of ALL Salmonoids.
Good Luck!
